The car that runs on water?

Well, it doesn't really run on "water," but that is what comes out of the tailpipe! I've been seeing advertisements for this car on TV and looked it up today. It's the Honda FCX (photo below). It's actually quit a nice looking car and, it runs on hydrogen! So, the only thing that it emits is water vapor. The only caveat hear is that it is only available in Southern California, and not even until mid-2008. If it were available in Central California, I would totally lease one!

Odd Photoshop Project

This is from my Photoshop class, it was our 9th project. I'm at home killing time before a movie and I decided to finish this up (yeah, I'm a nerd). Anyway, the idea was to take a photo of a fishbowl with nothing in it and make an outside scene. Interesting how it turned out, especially the bird (that was an idea I copied from the instructor). Here's another logo too, I really liked this one...anyone want to buy it for their business?

I wanted to post two more photos...

Oregon and Washington

Whoa, postings just a few days apart! Here are two photos I thought I would upload. My monitor isn't calibrated yet, so the colors are a bit off (but, they're also compressed for the web). The mountain view is from Crater Lake in Oregon. The bumble bee on the flower is from Mt. Saint Helens in Washington.

More to come soon...

Theives from Vancouver

Hello, It's been far too long since I've written anything here! Part of the time since I've last posted (looks like it's been a full summer!) I was lucky enough to be able to take a road trip to Canada, eh. Over our Labor Day weekend, I took an extra few days off and with a friend from Monterey drove up through California, Oregon, and Washington with a final destination of Vancouver, BC. We only ended camping in Canada, but the intent was to camp wherever we felt we need to stop on trip. This also made our actual "final" destination a bit further north, Squamish to be exact, but that was just to find a campsite. The drive up was great and I had never seen Oregon or Western Washington. I have some great photos that I will hopefully get to editing and place on here. The unfortunate part was that the last day in Canada, right as we were about to leave, I found my car broken into and thus my laptop bag (containing my laptop and associated peripherals) as well as my camera bag (luckily not containing the camera) missing. Quite unfortunate, and yes, swear words did fly from my mouth (I know, for shame!). Needless to say, I was pissed (and not in the Irish sort of way). I have now since replaced my computer, hence the ability to write this glorious entry, and also am now able to get back to work on photos!

Ironically, I don't hate Canada. In fact, it was beautiful and I plan to take a family trip next June (road trip plus camping). If you find an "abandoned Dell Latitude" on Ebay Canada, let me know!

Yong & Ashley Kim Wedding - May 19, 2007

Here are a few select pictures from Yong and Ashely Kim's wedding I shot in May. It was really fun to work with these two and I think we got some nice photos! Enjoy!

Enviga!

Hello! So here is the outcome graphic (this one is low-quality of course) of the project for my Digital Media class. My inspiration was a can of Enviga energy drink that I was given a few weeks ago (I liked the can design). Maybe Coca-cola will pay me for this =)

uh...yeah...

Today my youngest sister Alex posed as a model for my Digital Media final project. I thought I would post up one of the potential photos just because it is SO hilarious! I laugh each time I see this thing and that's pretty bad when you're sitting in a classroom full of quietly-working students! (for those of you wondering, "didn't he already graduate?"...yep, I did, but I'm taking some digital media classes to sharpen my skills in Photoshop and Illustrator). Feel free to save the pic as your desktop background or simply blackmail Alex with it =P

Just another pic

Just another photo I thought I would share. This is currently my desktop background on my computer at work. I took this at the San Diego zoo...I think it was a bamboo maze of some sort.

A real post?

Well, it's been a LONG, LONG time since I posted anything here! I just shot some pre-wedding photos for a co-worker's daughter and fiancé. It was a little nerve wracking when I was driving to take these photos because I highly criticize any photos I take involving humans...still object, nice vistas, quaint European towns, and the occasional perplexing view of a still object I feel fine and comfortable with. But photos of people add a whole other dimension.... Alas, though, I think I did a pretty good job if I say so myself ;-) Below are a few photos from Yong and Ashley at Pajaro Dunes beach.
